About The Author – I am 31 years old and live in Frankfurt Germany.  I have a wonderful wife and a daughter who are both the loves of my life.  Besides World of Warcraft, I also enjoy getting together with friends and playing some old school D&D  or Warhammer.

World Of Warcraft Experience –  I started playing WoW 5 years ago, a couple months after launch, as an Undead Rogue on the Gorefiend (US) server.  I only briefly got into raiding Molten Core with him before I re-rolled with friends on the Cho’gall (US) server and played a Resto/Balance Druid from MC through Serpentshrine Cavern.  Living in Europe our raid usually ended up being between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. local time. After 2 years I couldn’t manage such a difficult schedule anymore, so I switched over to the EU realms and rolled a Prot Pally which I played up until Black Temple. At this point a took a 1 year break and came back just as Trial of the Crusade was kicking off.  I once again rolled a Feral Druid on Silvermoon to play with some real life friends and finished out Wrath of the Lich King on her.  Currently I am GM and raid leader of a wonderful 10 man guild called Rome in a Day.  When Cataclysm released I switched over from my Cat Druid to my Blood DK and the change has been wonderful for me.

Podcasting – Like most people the first podcast I got into was The Instance.  Due to a semi-long commute to work, I also started listening to the WoW Insider show as well.  Once I started tanking I decided to give the Guardian Tank podcast a go and was glad I did.

Blog – I got to be honest and say that this will be my first experience at blogging and really, I am not sure what direction I would like to take or which niche I would like to fill.   For the time being I will just write about whatever is currently on my mind.  As I get feedback from readers and friends, I would like to slant my topics more toward their interests, but stick with my strengths and stay away from my weak points.  Even if this turns out to be a short-lived blog I would like to thank TWSS for giving me the opportunity and thank Envy for taking on the unenviable (see what I did there) job of being my editor and working pro bono no less!
