About TWSS – The Over Raided Blog

Author – TWSS

Server – Archimonde

Race/Class – Orc Death Knight

About The Author – I am a Iowa State University graduate from Chicago IL. I currently live in Chicago and I am just beginning to get more involved in the WOW community. I serve as a guest host to “The Guardian Tank Podcast : Your information location for tanking in the World Of Warcraft.” You can download this show and all of Happy Nerd Media’s productions free from iTunes, or go to the website http://www.theguardiantank.com. I am a huge Chicago Sports fan, and I am also a gamer outside of World Of Warcraft on many levels.

World Of Warcraft Experience – I first installed World Of Warcraft onto my computer in the fall of 2008, and since I have not looked back. My WOW knowledge has vastly grown, but like most players I still have much to learn. I have been a casual player, a Raider, a Raid leader, and even a Guild Master. I have tanked, pew pewed, and healed in both PVP and end game content. I am by no means an expert, but I feel that my knowledge could be helpful to at least one person in WOW’s massive community, and to me that is a good enough reason to write this blog. I am currently a simple Raider in a progression guild, and I could not be happier with my “WOW Situation” My main is a level 85 DK, and I have numerous alts that range from level 16 to 81.

Podcasting – I began to listen to  podcasts in the summer of 2010. I needed something to listen to in the ride to work and at my desk. I found Sports talk radio to be very entertaining, and I wanted more. After doing a search for WOW Podcasts I came across a bunch of great shows that I still listen to today. (The Instance, WOW Insider, The Guardian Tank, Randomly Reviewed, Raid Warning and Call to Auction.) When the Guardian Tank was looking for listener hosts to come onto the show for one episode I jumped on the opportunity. I aired on episode 14 for the first time, and it was a great experience. Later In the year The Guardian Tank was looking for some permanent hosts to replace some that had to leave the show for personal reasons. I quickly applied to be on the show, and a month later I was recording my first episode as a member of the cast. (Episode 32). I truly enjoy being on the show, and am very appreciative of Happy Nerd Media for allowing me to be a part of it.

Blog – After getting a taste of  podcasting I wanted to do more. After searching the internet for a website to host my blog I came across this one and here we are. I am going to try and create a wide range of blog topics so that every type of WOW player can benefit from at least one of my blogs. I apologize in advanced if I neglect your class or interests in my posts, please understand that my knowledge and experience only goes so far. However I know plenty of people who are more then capable of answering any and all questions you may have. If I run across a situation where my knowledge is limited I will make sure to seek out someone who can answer that for me.

If you have any questions or comments about DKs, Tanking, DPS, the shows, my blog, Raid Progression, or anything else WOW related, please feel free to e-mail me at DKTWSS@gmail.com. I hope that you enjoy my work and I hope to get better and offer some good reading as time goes on. Thanks. -TWSS

Hey man, great site. I heard about it from the guardian tank podcast. I’ve only been playing since Wrath, but sites like this help me keep up and progress. The information is very relevant, keep up the good work.

P.S. I work and live in Chicago too. D. Rose for MVP.

Thanks for the support, I normally don’t comment back on the pages because I think it is weird for me to comment on my own site but I will say I approve and appreciate the DRose drop I am a huge sports fan and they are nasty this year.

WOW players have been claiming to update the dubbing of WOW.’ Compared to new role models, the old role models are sth like antiques
